Middle Schoolers Learn about Aquaculture and Stewardship at Loko iʻa Pāʻaiau
Our middle school students visited Loko iʻa Pāʻaiau, a historic Hawaiian fishpond in Pearl Harbor. They learned about traditional aquaculture methods, Hawaiian culture, and the importance of environmental stewardship. This hands-on experience deepened their understanding of sustainability and connected them with Hawaii’s rich heritage.
