Gary Hogan and Gregory M. Sato Join Assets School Board of Trustees

Honolulu, HI (July 1, 2019) – Assets School announces the selection of Gary Hogan of Hogan Hospitality Group and Gregory M. Sato of Kobayashi Sugita & Goda, LLP to its Board of Trustees.

"We are excited to welcome Gary and Greg to our Board of Trustees. Each brings a wealth of business experience to our leadership team and will be vigorous advocates of our vision of aspiring to a community in which all children thrive and realize their own potential," said Ryan Masa, incoming Head of School. 

As a second-generation leader of the Hogan Family Enterprise, Gary is the Chief Executive Officer of Hogan Hospitality Group, Hawaiian Hotels and Resorts, and Royal Pacific Air. He is a member of the Hawaii Hotel and Lodging Association, Young Presidents Organization and World Presidents Organization. Hogan serves on the Board of the Pacific Aviation Museum and Chaminade University. At Chaminade, he founded the Hogan Entrepreneurs Program in 2001 to promote the entrepreneurial spirit through education.  

Greg is a Labor and Employment Law partner at Kobayashi Sugita & Goda law firm. He is a Director with the Hawaii Food Bank, a Director for Hanahau’oli School, and a Hearing Officer with the Hawaii Office of Disciplinary Counsel. He is a published author and national speaker. Greg holds a bachelor’s in History from the University of Southern California and a Masters of Management/Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the Pritzker School of Law.
