Summer Session K-8 Moves to Distance Learning in June
In light of current events, the safety of our students is our most important concern; however, we understand your child’s desire to return to campus and see their teachers and friends, as well as participate in academics that don’t require a screen.  Our teachers and staff have the same goal, and we hope to return to campus as soon as it is safe to do so.

Until that time, we will be offering a menu of “a la carte” Distance Learning opportunities that encourage connection and academic growth for Students in Grades K-8. Details for Session 1 are included below. Please note: Tutoring sessions are only for students currently enrolled in Assets School.

In the coming weeks, we will reassess the situation and propose plans for Session 2 in July.

Enrichments are a key component to our K-8 program, and for many students, it marks the highlight of their day.  Therefore, it seemed essential that we offer it regardless of our distance.  The purpose of our Enrichment courses is to help students find their interests and develop their talents.  Courses will include synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities and may include opportunities for family participation.  A school iPad will be administered to each enrolled student.   There is a minimum of 6 students per enrichment class.

Summer Enrichments (1 p.m. - 2 p.m.)

June: Session I & II moves to  Distance Learning  in June.
July: Session III & IV are tentatively scheduled on campus in a traditional classroom setting.

Time: 7:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.    Tuition: $500 per session

Our 2020 High School Summer Program is particularly helpful for our incoming freshmen and students new to Assets High School as they will spend each session taking four courses that will give them a well-rounded view of our curriculum. Students are encouraged to attend both sessions to get the most out of their summer programming. Returning students would benefit from this experience as well and are welcome to enroll.
See below for specific course descriptions.
