Kindergarten to fourth-grade students actively engage in the fascinating world of Flight Exploration.
During their hands-on enrichment classes, the students crafted straw gliders and paper helicopters, and then watched their flying creations take to the sky with impressive success.
"They learn how the wind hits the aircraft and how far it flies," said alumna and teacher Courtney Germain.
In a separate session, students engaged in folding traditional paper airplanes. They can look forward to exploring the world of parachutes in upcoming lessons.
These young learners are finding out about aerodynamics, discovering the principles of flight, and fueling their curiosity.
