Our High School is lively with excitement growing over the start of the Mentorship Program for this school year which includes new sites such as Foodland Farms at Ala Moana, Nimitz Elementary, and the state Department of Land and Natural Resources Sea Urchin Hatchery Program.
We are also kicking-off our second year of the Rocketry Program which was a favorite among many students last year.
"We competed in a competition where you had to get a certain height while protecting two eggs in the payload,” said junior high school student Logan. "What I did on the team was that I was the photographer.”
It was a busy summer for the Assets award-winning robotics team. Many of our students built robots in July to showcase Assets’ Robotics Program at the Kaneohe Bay Air Show in August, and the recent Okinawan Festival held at the Hawaii Convention Center.
