In honor of National Dyslexia Awareness Month, thanks to Hawaii News Now Sunrise Morning Show on Thursday, October 17, we shared how Assets School helps children manage reading, math, and writing challenges.
We want to give a big thank you to Jody Shiroma for her heartfelt storytelling, highlighting what it's like to be a parent of a child who now navigates dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia successfully, thanks to the support at Assets School. Assets is the only school in Hawaii that educates gifted and capable kindergarten to 12th-grade students, specializing in those with dyslexia and other learning differences such as dyscalculia (trouble with math) and dysgraphia (trouble with writing).
Watch now: Learn more about signs of dyslexia and the importance of testing as Assets School's Clinical Director Dr. Elsa Lee explains on the KITV Good Morning Hawaii TV show.
