We extend our gratitude to the Central Pacific Bank (CPB) Foundation for donating $10,000 to our tuition assistance fundraiser known as the Illumination Gala. A check presentation was held February 23. We appreciate CPB Foundation's commitment to our mission and desire to help students who need an Assets education. The Illumination Gala will be Saturday, April 15, at The Pacific Club from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

We also extend our gratitude to Bank of Hawaii, First Hawaiian Bank, Altres, and Faith and Trustee Greg Sato for sponsoring $10,000 tables. We appreciate the Mary Philpotts McGrath 'Ohana for sponsoring a $5,000 table. We thank C.S. Wo & Sons, Finance Factors, Tradewind Charters, UHA Health Insurance, Trustee Jill MacMillan, and former Trustee Susan Walker Kowen for sponsoring $3,500 tables.

Thank you to the families who already donated items for our online auction! Donations are still needed. We are looking for jewelry, once in a lifetime experiences, vintage sports memorabilia, bottles of wine and more. Do you have an expertise? You can donate an hour of your time to share about your craft/hobby/career. We would like to have the donations at our offices by March 10 so they will be ready for the our 10 day online auction which goes live Thursday, April 6, and ends on Saturday, April 15, at 8:30 p.m.

Leimomiokalani '25 and her parents had the winning bid on tickets to see the American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles from the online auction for Illumination 2022. Stevie Wonder and Pink were amongst other performers such as Ari Lennox, Melissa Etheridge, Yola, and Smokey Robinson.

It was amazing going to the American Music Awards," said Leimomiokalani '25. "It felt so unreal that I could see that many celebrities at one time. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Wow!”
